"They" say that a successful blog must focus on a very narrow or "niche" subject to be well received. Well, my focus is life in general and you cannot get much broader than that. Oh no! Is this blog doomed to languish is a sea of niche blogs?
"They" also say to write what you know. I was a chubby kid that spent most of my time with adults. I would sit with them so long that they forgot I was present. It was during these times that I heard stories and saw behavior that I linked to certain truths and patterns with regard to the human condition and this world. Ultimately, at a young age, I understood that life is a series of choices and the in between moments that are derived from enjoying or enduring the outcomes of said choices.
How can we make better choices? Where are our lives now and where would we like them to be? What makes this life wonderful for us and what are our struggles? How can we reach our individual versions of peace and happiness? Those are the things along with a hefty dose of humor is what I want to share with you on this blog. Commentary on relationships, health, work, spirituality, happiness and humor from the perspective of a 48 year old, Christian, African American, female, student of life with so much to share. That is, Life According to Ms. Treens.
